CCOP & NPCDC Reduce City Violence

ccop

On March 12th over 600 members of Camden Churches Organized for People (CCOP) gathered at Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church with key public officials to launch a campaign to reduce violence in Camden, NJ. Members came together in unity across religions, races, and ethnicities, across geographies and income levels, and across professions and ages to heal the land, heal the city (2 Chronicles 7). Testimonies communicated a vast range of lived experiences, including that of unemployed, undocumented, recently released, business owners, immigrant groups, student groups, civic groups, faith leaders, public officials, youth and parents in heart-moving detail.
